Kurt Busch took the lead from his younger brother, Kyle, with two laps to go and led at the end of the first segment of Saturday night’s Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Kyle Busch took the lead after an impressive pit stop halfway through the first segment and stayed in front until Kurt swept past him on the 49th of 50 laps. Kurt led his brother by .597 of a second at the end of the 50th lap.

Jimmie Johnson held a 1.38-second lead at the end of the race’s first 25 laps as the entire 21-car field dropped onto pit road. Kyle Busch’s crew executed a near-perfect stop and ushered him into first place.

Following in the top five after 50 laps were Johnson, Joey Logano and Jamie McMurray.
